Please note the new route used first in 2024.

There was a change to the start of the original 2019 fell race to avoid the narrow passage just after the bridge. To prevent runners queueing, the race turns right after the bridge and then cuts back to the original route. Many thanks to the local land owners and farmers that have allowed this to happen.

Please note that we are very pleased to say that we will once again be racing along the edge itself this year (route in purple). The footpath that passes by the Eagle Stone - indicated by the arrows in red above- is the alternative bad weather route if conditions are too bad to allow running along the edge itself.
